Dr. Aruna A S

Dr. Aruna A. S. is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru–560054. He completed his Ph.D. in the area of Fluid Dynamics, with the thesis titled “Heat Transport by Rayleigh–Bénard Convection in Variable Viscosity Newtonian Liquids with Heat Source/Sink” from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, in 2018. He has around 17 years of teaching experience and 6 years of research experience. His research interests include convective instability, Lorenz models, and heat transfer. He has published arund 20 research papers in reputed international journals and has presented 6 research papers at reputed international conferences, including ISTAM-2016, ICETCFD-2019, and ICMA-2020. He is recognised as a Research Supervisor by Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) and is presently supervising a full-time Ph.D. scholar under the M. S. Ramaiah Doctoral Fellowship. He is also a member of the Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (ISTAM) and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
