Dr. Sumana Maradithaya

Dr. Sumana Maradithaya is a Ph. D degree holder and is serving as Professor and Head in Information Science and Engineering Department of RIT. She is PI for the ISRO project and RIT seed funding project. She has publications in reputed conferences and journals. She is Chair, IEEE-CIS Bangalore Section ,IEEE Senior Member, LM-CSI, LM-ISTE. She has mentored several industry-based projects in the area of machine learning, anomaly detection and deep learning. She is mentoring student projects in the areas of Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning and Computer Vision She has received funding for community outreach and industry interaction activities from IEEE CIS. She is interested in subjects related to Data Mining , Data Science and Analytics, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
