Dr. S G Shivaprasad Yadav

Dr. S G Shivaprasad Yadav is a Professor at the Department of Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering at Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT), Bengaluru, with approximately 25 years of combined experience in industry, research, teaching, and academic administration. He specializes in Embedded Systems, Microcontrollers, DSP Processors, and Internet of Things. Dr. Yadav has published 54 unique research publications in IEEE, Springer, and Scopus-indexed journals and conferences, and has secured research grants from VGST and DST, Government of India. He has been instrumental in laboratory development, curriculum innovation aligned with OBE and NEP frameworks, and mentoring of undergraduate and postgraduate students. His research interests encompass Embedded Systems and Real-Time Computing, AI-Enabled Intelligent Embedded Systems, Edge AI, Embedded Machine Learning, and IoT-based agricultural applications. Dr. Yadav holds leadership positions in professional societies including IEEE Senior Member and Honorary Secretary of IETE Bangalore Centre. He actively contributes to accreditation bodies as IQAC Coordinator, NAAC Coordinator, and NBA Coordinator at MSRIT, and serves as Board of Examination member at VTU and multiple engineering institutions.
