Bio
Dr. Inamul Hasan is an Associate Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Ramaiah Institute of Technology with 15 years of academic and research experience. He specializes in aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, rotorcraft aerodynamics, UAV design, and flow control. He holds a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological University (2022), M.E in Aeronautical Engineering (2011), and B.E in Aeronautical Engineering (2009). With 30+ publications in SCI/SCIE/Scopus-indexed journals, including Physics of Fluids, and 169 Google Scholar citations (h-index: 8, i10-index: 7), he demonstrates strong research productivity. Dr. Hasan is an accomplished educator and mentor, currently supervising Ph.D. research scholars and guiding multiple undergraduate and postgraduate student projects. He has completed 26 NPTEL certification courses and 15 faculty development programmes from premier institutions including IITs and IISc. He holds multiple NPTEL Star Awards and serves as a peer reviewer for international aerospace journals. His administrative roles include NAAC Criteria 4 Institutional Coordinator and NBA Criteria 3 Department Coordinator. He is an Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers (India).
