Requirements for B.E. Program Admission

Academic Requirements

  • 10+2 or PUC: Passed with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects
  • Minimum Marks: 45% aggregate in PCM (40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
  • Valid Entrance Score: KCET/COMEDK/JEE Main or any other approved entrance test

Age Requirements

  • Maximum Age: 24 years as on 1st August of admission year
  • Relaxation: 3 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates
  • Domicile: No domicile restriction for COMEDK quota

Note: Candidates must have studied and passed Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with English as one of the subjects.

Entrance Examination

Appear for any of the approved entrance examinations:

  • KCET ( Karnataka Common Entrance Test)
  • COMEDK (Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka)
  • JEE Main (Joint Entrance Examination)
  • Other state-level entrance exams

Document Verification

Submit the following documents for verification:

  • 10th standard marks card
  • 12th/PUC marks card
  • Entrance exam score card
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Caste/Category certificate (if applicable)
  • Passport size photographs

Counseling & Seat Allotment

Participate in counseling process:

  • Register for counseling (KEA/COMEDK)
  • Fill choices of colleges and branches
  • Attend counseling as per schedule
  • Get seat allotment based on merit and preferences

Fee Payment & Admission

Complete admission formalities:

  • Pay admission fee within stipulated time
  • Submit original documents
  • Complete college admission process
  • Collect admission receipt and ID card
